This position provides an excellent work/life balance. You deliver direct to our customers. Typical run is 2 to 4 nights out. Assigned routes. You stay in Hotels with expenses paid. Day cab tractors. No weekends! No sitting at docks, hours on end.

Skills and Requirements:

• Must live within a 50 mile radius from our terminals
• Current clean Class CDL-A license and current medical examiner’s certificate
• Willing to drive a regional route 3-5 day a week, start Mon get home Thurs or Fri
• Willing to build relationships with our customers, employees and vendors
• Willing to comply with all local, state and federal regulations and our safety rules
• Willing to make safety and cleanliness an important everyday concern
• Willing to help our customers off-load product from the truck by lifting, carrying, positioning and off-loading product/boxes weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Willing to complete the necessary paperwork for customer’s orders, deliveries, returns and obtain signatures when necessary
• Carefully maintain a clean valid and acceptable driving and safety record

What A-tech drivers do

• We deliver garage door products such as openers, rails, stop vinyl and hardware to our customer base.
• Routes are assigned to drivers by region, one week you will be in one region the following week in a different region. You will be assigned these routes. This is to ensure you work with the same customers and to maintain a working relationship with that customer. This is key to A-techs core value.
• Your routes are given to you Thursday evening, Friday your truck will be loaded to start your route on Monday. Typical route is around 1800 miles a week some longer and some weeks shorter but average route is 1800 +.
• You are paid by the hub mile and plus stop pay for each completed stop on your route sheet.
• Drivers are typically back by Thursday evening. You will sleep in hotels not in a truck. We pay the expenses, no out of pocket cost.
• We issue you all the tools and equipment to do your job safely and with ease.
• We use late model day cab tractors, this helps us get into some challenging delivery areas.
• Tractors are leased and maintained by the leasing company. Trailers are maintained by A-tech. Trucks and trailers are washed at Blue Beacon once a month.
